Bucking the trend among this neighborhood's many restaurants, De Tapas y Copas isn't filled with antiques or wedged into a basement. The modern dining room is open and airy, with little to take the attention away from the food. Among the best dishes are paella de mariscos (seafood with rice) and tapas like calamares fritos al alioli (fried squid with garlic mayonnaise). And what about the copas? Glasses of many different Spanish wines are available at the curved wood bar.
