Café Melba

¢-$, Cafe, Las Condes

User Rating: **** 3.6

Fodor's Review:

Almost unheard of in Santiago, this storefront restaurant serves breakfast all day. If you're particularly hungry, order "The Works" -- baked beans, mushrooms, sausage, and bacon. Drink it down with a caffe latte, served in a large white bowl. The interior is open and airy, with wooden tables scattered about the wood-floored dining room. In warm weather, grab a seat on the covered patio in front. Get here early, as it closes around 6.

Pricey Breakfast!

Posted by Megan from Dexter, Maine on 4/5/06

While I do agree the food is good, I found it to be a bit pricey. It is eggs, bacon, and potatoes which cost me about $7. However with the price of your food you get a free half the internet.
