$-$$, Brazilian, Santa Teresa
Fodor's Review:
A neighborhood favorite for 30-plus years, this informal tavern serves generous portions of unusual Brazilian food. Case in point: goat and broccoli with pirão (cassava mush) and rice. Portions are large enough to serve two or even three. For dessert, sweetened condensed milk is cooked to a creamy caramel-like paste and served atop slices of coalho (a semihard cow cheese). Arnaudo has nice views of the city and Guanabara Bay.
