This slick, affordable hotel is within walking distance of downtown as well as the riverside ecological reserve. The big, bright, modern rooms have wood accents and white color schemes. Many rooms also have fantastic views of the docks and city skyline. The restaurant, Red, serves great Argentine-French fusion cuisine in an intimate setting. The breakfast buffet features tons of exotic fresh fruits and Argentine baked goods.

I've stayed at the Madero a few times when it was with the Accor group. As of 01SEP08 they are no longer affiliated with the group. I was not notified by the Accor group, so therefore did not receive any Sofitel points (no fault of the hotel)
The property remains in the high standards of the Accor group with regards to cleanliness. The entire staff continues to be one of the most efficient and friendly group of people that I have had the pleasure of meeting. One slight problem with an employee in the White Bar was dealt with promptly by the food and beverage manager Mr. Orvack. I feel that the food in the Resto Red has actually improved. I had one of the best veal chops I have ever tasted. The Sunday Brunch was equally delicious. Impecable service, great quality and quantity ! The guest service manager Mr. Harrington went out of his way to insure that my stay was excellent. Ines in the business center continues to be extremely friendly and efficient.
I will continue to return to this hotel while in Buenos Aires, even though I am given the choice of the Sofitel Buenos Aires. I will also continue to highly recommend this hotel to my friends and colleagues worldwide. Gracias !
