Fodor's Review:
This motel-style lodge with pine wainscoting and brown carpets is in the pine trees at the edge of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, adjacent to the essentially identical Cascade Lodge. It's at the farthest edge of the Canyon Village, so it's a distance to the nearest dining facilities. Pros: Canyon location is central to the entire park. Cons: Far from dining and other services, with children you'll need to drive to restaurants.
