Fodor's Review

Completed in 1891, this structure on the National Register of Historic Places is the oldest lodging in Yellowstone National Park. Casual daytime visitors can lounge in white wicker chairs in the sunroom and watch the waters of Yellowstone Lake through massive windows. Robert Reamer, the architect of the Old Faithful Inn, added a columned entrance in 1903 to enhance the original facade of the hotel, still aglow from its $28.5 million renovation in 2014.
