Great Fountain Geyser

Fodor's Review

Shooting water from 75 to 200 feet in the air every eight to 15 hours, this geyser is the most spectacular sight in Lower Geyser Basin. Check at the Old Faithful Visitor Center for predicted eruption times, which leave a window of opportunity of a couple of hours. Should the geyser spew while you're present, you'll see water waves cascading down the terraces that form its edges.
