One of the park's most inspiring views of the lake is complemented by a revamped menu. Roast turkey and pot roast are typical fare at this cafeteria, but you'll also find more upscale offerings like trout amandine, prime rib, and poached salmon. It has a full breakfast menu.

I worked at Lake Lodge (in the laundry) in the summer of 1965 when I was 18, and ate three meals a day in the cafeteria. Needless to say, I didn't appreciate good or bad food at that age. Visited there last summer for the first time since then, and it was a wonderful trip back in time. Anyway, about the food - it's cafeteria food folks, and pretty good I think. But forget the food. It has, in my opinion, the best view of any restaurant in the park.
That view, and the beautiful lodge would make any food taste great. You gotta go there.

I would say the food is pretty average cafeteria style food with a great view. You can find something for everyone.....from the meat & potato person to the vegeterian to the picky kid selection!

The atmosphere is very beautiful. It is surrounded by a lake. I would not eat here because the pizza crust is very doughy and the sauce is disgusting. I would recommend to go to this place for the view only!!
