Porcelain Basin Review

In the eastern portion of the Norris Geyser Basin this thermal area is reached by a ¾-mi, partially boardwalked loop from Norris Geyser Basin Museum. In this geothermal field of whitish geyserite stone, the earth bulges and belches from the underground pressure. You'll find bubbling pools, some milky white and others ringed in orange because of the minerals in the water, as well as small geysers such as extremely active Whirligig.
