Highlights of this 1918 Arts and Crafts–style home include an enormous yard with a creek running through, a sunny deck for breakfasts, and extremely gracious owners and staff. Rooms are handsome, with lots of old oak and handmade quilts, but not so "B&B precious" that you feel like you're sleeping in a museum exhibit. Students from the local Catholic college sometimes use the common space downstairs as a study and conversation space, which can give the place a salon-type vibe or infringe a tiny bit on privacy, depending on your take.
