Fodor's Review:

At the best bargain in the Jackson Hole area, you'll get a true ranch-style meal in a long hall along with some of the liveliest Western entertainment you'll find in the region. The food, served on a tin plate, includes barbecued roast beef, chicken, or rib-eye steak, plus potatoes, beans, biscuits, applesauce, spice cake, and ranch coffee or lemonade. The multitalented Bar J Wranglers sing, play instruments, share cowboy stories and poetry, and even yodel. "Lap-size" children eat free. The doors open at 5:30, so you can explore the Bar J's Western village—including a saloon and several shops—before the dinner bell rings at 7:30. The dining area is covered, so no need to worry if the sun isn't shining. Reservations are strongly suggested.
