National Museum of Wildlife Art

Fodor's Review:

Among the paintings and sculptures of bighorn sheep, elk, and other animals of the West you'll find fine-art representations and photographs of wildlife by such artists as John J. Audubon, Frederick Remington, George Catlin, Tucker Smith, and Charles M. Russell. The collection includes works in various media and styles, the earliest pieces dating to 2000 BC. A deck here affords views across the National Elk Refuge, where, particularly in winter, you can see wildlife in a natural habitat.
