This large, full-service resort stands on a bluff with spectacular views across Jackson Lake to the Tetons. (And we do mean full service: there's everything from live music in the bar to in-house religious services.) The upper lobby has 60-foot picture windows and a collection of Native American artifacts and Western art. Many of the guest rooms have lake and mountain views, but others have little or no view, so ask when you book. Pros: Central location for visiting both Grand Teton and Yellowstone; heated outdoor pool; on-site medical clinic. Cons: Rooms without views are pricey for what you get; the hotel hosts many large meetings.
