Colter Bay Village Review

Near Jackson Lake, this cluster of Western-style cabins—some with one room, others with two or more—is within walking distance of the lake. The property has splendid views and an excellent marina and beach for the windsurfing crowd (you'll need a wet suit because of the cold). There are also camping options: a 112-space RV park as well as tent cabins that share communal baths.

    great location

This is the place to stay in the Grand Tetons. The view is fantastic and they offer many activities. I stayed in a log cabin and really enjoyed it. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was dated but everything worked. If you are looking for a 4 or 5 star place to stay this is not it. Try Jackson Lodge if this is what you are expecting. The location couldn't have been better to tour the parks. There were animals everywhere. I'd definitely stay here again if I am ever in Yellowstone or the Tetons. I am recommending it to friends

    Colter Bay Village Review

We chose this because I wanted to spend a night in the park, and it was one of the less expensive options. Staying in a cabin had a different feel than a std. hotel room, which we enjoyed. The office staff were friendly, we enjoyed our meal at the restaurant, we picked up breakfast items at the general store. The cabin itself was quiet, we never heard our neighbors, the cabin was nothing fancy, but nothing awful either, and everything was clean. I recommend to walk the nature trail, it was beautiful. By normal standards was it worth $126+tax? no, but by national park standards it was fine. I would stay here again
