Climbing

Jackson Hole Mountain Guides. Mountain climbers get a leg up in the Tetons from this outfit, which offers instruction for beginning to advanced climbers in both rock and ice climbing. 165 N. Fishing

Grand Teton Lodge Company. The park's major concessionaire operates guided Jackson Lake fishing trips that include boat and tackle, and guided fly-fishing trips on the Snake River. Make reservations at the activities desks at Colter Bay Village or Jackson Lake Lodge, where trips originate. Horseback Riding

Colter Bay Village Corral. Jackson Lake Lodge Corral. One-hour trail rides give an overview of the Jackson Lake Lodge area; two-hour rides go to Emma Matilda Lake, Oxbow Bend, and Christian Pond. Experienced riders can take a half-day ride to Two Ocean Lake. Some rides include breakfast or dinner eaten along the trail.
