1. David Street Station
An adaptive open-air gathering place in the heart of downtown Casper, David Street Station hosts everything from farmer's markets and concerts in the summer, to ice skating in the winter months. Make sure to check out their website for an events calendar as there is always something going on.

2. Hyart Theatre
This striking midcentury modern 975-seat movie palace built in 1950 by film lover Hyrum Bischoff received a full restoration in the early 2000s, thanks to efforts by local volunteers who raised funds to restore the building's spacious lobby, sunken lounge, sloping balcony, and neon painter's palette high above the marquee. 3. Plains Indian Powwow
The two-day Plains Indian Powwow, in late June, brings together hoop dancers, traditional dancers, and jingle dancers from various tribes. The performances take place outdoors in the Buffalo Bill Center of the West's Robbie Powwow Garden.

4. Wild West Spectacular
Held in downtown's historic 1937 Cody Theater, this colorful western revue—held four nights weekly from late June through early August—uses comedy, dance, and music to tell the tale of Buffalo Bill Cody.

6. Cody Cattle Company Dinner Show
Feast on a chuck wagon dinner of barbecue brisket or chicken (and freshly baked brownies for dessert) during these hour-long country-western shows that end at 7:30 pm, just in time for you to make the five-minute stroll to the Cody Night Rodeo, just down the road. Shows take place late May through mid-September.

7. Dan Miller's Cowboy Music Revue
Monday through Saturday from June through September, head to this redbrick performance space behind the Irma Hotel to watch the popular country-cowboy variety shows led by Dan Miller, a popular radio and TV host, singer, and actor.

Both the Casper Symphony Orchestra and the Casper College Theater Department perform at the 465-seat Gertrude Krampert Theater.

Founded in 1986, the Powder River Symphony continues to perform on a regular basis at the Cam-Plex Heritage Center, a 960-seat auditorium within the Cam-Plex. The orchestra is composed of area musicians of all ages, and they play everything from Beethoven to Andrew Lloyd Webber.
