For a change from steak and potatoes, try this café in a renovated historic theater with high ceilings and old wallpaper. The place serves a wide selection of simple soups, salads, tortilla wraps, and specialty sandwiches such as lemon-ginger chicken pita, and turkey and Swiss on focaccia. In summer there are chilled soups like tomato wine, cream of cantaloupe, and spinach cucumber. The Polynesian and mandarin orange salads are equally refreshing.
