One of the cabins at the UXU guest ranch is a historic late-19th-century stage stop moved to the site and decorated with Molesworth-style furnishings; other cabins here date to the 1960s or 1920s. The ranch, along the North Fork of the Shoshone River, offers outstanding horseback riding, pack trips into the nearby mountains, superb fly-fishing, white-water rafting arrangements, and a location near the Sleeping Giant ski area. There's a minimum one-week stay. It's open
year-round; inquire about winter rates.
