Wagon Box Resort Review

On the edge of the tiny town of Story, about 16 mi south of Big Horn, the Wagon Box, named after a conflict between Sioux warriors and loggers, lies at the base of the Big Horn Mountains. The rooms and cabins are furnished modestly in Western style; the cabins have fireplaces and porches with swings. This is a great spot for outdoor recreation—from hiking and fishing to horseback riding and barbecuing—and your hosts are happy to help you plan whatever activity suits your fancy. There are even horse corrals at the campground next door, so planning a quick ride or a major expedition into neighboring Bighorn National Forest is a breeze.
