The Mill Inn

2161 Coffeen Ave., Sheridan, Wyoming, 82801, United States

A former flour mill near a bridge has been converted into this motel, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, with a lobby featuring wood accents and Native American art. Some rooms face a busy street. The building has six stories, but the top four floors are business offices. Furniture from a dude ranch fills much of the motel, giving it a definite Western style.

PROS

  • near downtown
  • complimentary breakfast
  • historic accents with great photography by L.A. Huffman

CONS

  • some think the inn is overpriced, with some rooms too close to outside traffic and the bathrooms unaccommodating to those with disabilities
