Riviera Lodge

Fodor's Review:

Locally owned and simplistic in nature, the Riviera is located right on the slow-moving Encampment River, a haven for trout and waterfowl. Rooms are decorated in a western theme. An empty lobby and one of the owner's pets usually greet you as you enter. Out back you will find a large grassy area making the property one of the few pet-friendly places in Saratoga. Anglers will appreciate the location as it is within walking distance from local fly shops. Pros: Only two blocks from downtown. Cons: Relatively few amenities.
