In the center of the city's growing theater district near the river, this classy-yet-hip hotel brings downtown indoors. The lobby restaurant and bar are popular with theater-goers fresh from a show at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, which is just across the street. The InterContinental also boasts an art gallery and nightclub. Rooms are tastefully decorated with simple furniture and flat-panel TVs. You won't find this combination of luxury and location at a better price.

Even after after 3 months of staying at InterContinental Milwaukee, the best thing I remember about the hotel is their staff. Very sweet and helpful, they made my stay memorable. The location is, of course, as perfect as it can be! Bang in the middle of the town, it's easy to travel to anywhere from here. I do wish the rooms were more upgraded to make it a luxury stay, but the hotel is renovating from what I hear. The new Pink Rooms are absolutely
gorgeous. I dined at their restaurant Kil@wat too. A very beautiful restaurant I must admit! Their weekend brunch was good with a good amount of choices. Well-cooked and presented, I could go there again! The InterContinental is in a prime location next to the Marcus Performing Arts Center. Simply cross the street and you're set. It's nice to have the lobby to get a drink as well as the restaurant option right inside the hotel. Clean, modern but not snobby.
