Fodor's Review

In this park administered by the local historical society, you can wander through log buildings from the 1870s—including Whatcom County's first church—that have been restored and converted into museums. Note the beautifully "squared" cedar logs, a western Washington pioneer building technique. Highlights include summer tours, an old-time Settlers Picnic at the end of July, and Old-Fashioned Christmas festivities.
