Bay Café Review
Boats dock right outside this pretty waterside house at the entrance to Fisherman Bay. In winter, sunlight streams into the window-framed dining room; in summer you can relax on the wraparound porch before a gorgeous sunset panorama. The menu is highlighted by regionally sourced meats and seafood, including sea scallop risotto with porcinis, leeks, and crème fraîche, and grilled rib eye with a green-peppercorn demiglace, which is best enjoyed with a side of bacon-studded roasted Brussels sprouts. Homemade sorbet and a fine crème caramel are among the desserts. Weekend breakfasts draw huge crowds.
