Khu Larb Thai

Khu Larb Thai Review

Some of the state's best Thai food is prepared at this unassuming restaurant, a few steps off the main street. Family-run for more than 20 years, its recipes reflect Chinese, Indian, and Malaysian influences on traditional Thai fare, including savory soups, curries, and fried rice and noodle dishes, many with fresh basil, sliced lime leaves, and hints of lemongrass. There's a wide array of meat and vegetarian dishes as well as seafood like tender scallops in red curry or local Marrowstone Island clams in ginger curry. The signature black rice pudding dessert far exceeds the usual coconut ice cream on Thai menus.
