Fodor's Review:

The multistory, peak-roofed inn resembles a classic San Francisco mansion, and its setting next to the ferry docks makes it one of the town's most popular accommodations. A slim brown beach and blue bay front the property, which includes two separate sections; a wing of small, basic, budget rooms, and an expanse of spacious condo-style digs with kitchenettes, jetted tubs, and private decks right over the water. All rooms are done in light Northwest hues with wood trimmings. Note to movie buffs: scenes from An Officer and a Gentleman were filmed here. Pros: Beach locale, choice of rooms and prices. Cons: Need to book far in advance in high season.
