Kayaking

Kayak Port Townsend (435 Water St. 360/385-6240) conducts guided kayak tours from April to September. Tours cost $40 for three hours or $80 for a full day with lunch. You can also rent single and double kayaks for $15 and $25 per hour, respectively. PT Outdoors (10178 Water St. 360/379-3608 or 888/754-8598) offers kayaking classes and guided trips. Waterfront tours are $35; two- to three-hour early-bird tours, sunset tours, and half-day tours are $40; full-day tours are $70. Single kayaks and rowboats rent for $15 per hour; double kayaks rent for $25 per hour.
