42nd Street Cafe and Bistro Review

Inspired and creative yet unpretentious, this cozy, cheerful place serves gourmet comfort food at its best. Make a meal of small plates like fried green tomatoes, Dungeness crab beignets, or Willapa Bay clams steamed in Heffewiezen with lemon, garlic, chili flakes, and parsley. Dinner entrées—such as ravioli stuffed with butternut squash and gorgonzola, eight-hour pot roast, and lemon crab and shrimp fettuccine—come with house-baked bread, marionberry conserve, corn relish, and seasonal local vegetables. Razor clams and pan-fried oysters are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rich chocolate rum truffle cheesecake and a lighter mini mint chocolate sorbet are popular desserts. The excellent wine list has Pacific Northwest labels.

    42nd Street Cafe Review

Visited for dinner 9/2009. Very friendly staff. Oysters were wonderful. Would come here again without hesitation.
