A white picket fence and lovely gardens surround a Victorian hotel that's been operating continuously since it opened in 1896, and today it offers distinctly decorated rooms full of fresh flowers, handsome antiques, fine-art prints, wrought-iron beds, and vintage wardrobes. Some rooms have classic clawfoot tubs and either shared or private balconies. The Shelburne Pub has a dark wooden interior and a contemporary Pacific Northwestern menu focused heavily on seafood. Homemade pastries and specialty desserts feature fresh local ingredients.
