T. Maccarones Review
Italian food with a very contemporary flare is the draw at "T-Mac's," along with the neighborly feel of the small, two-level restaurant. It's the kind of place that quickly becomes a favorite for locals. Customers are often greeted personally by friendly owner Tom Maccarone, a native of Walla Walla who returned in 2005 after years in the Seattle area. Chef Preston Crowe's menu focuses on sustainable practices and fresh, local, and organic ingredients for dishes like sweet potato gnocchi and honey cinnamon brined free-range chicken. The T-Mac and Cheese is rich and delicious; desserts are baked in-house.
