Pearson Air Museum

Fodor's Review:

The Pearson Air Museum has vintage aircraft in working order. Displays rotate; more than a dozen planes are on view at a time. Planes include a 1953 Cessna 170 that flew around the world in 1956-57, a 1913 Voisin III (1 of just 3 in the world), and a 1941 DeHavilland Tiger Moth. Kids love the hands-on displays (and the gift shop). Pearson is the West's oldest continuously operating airfield.

  • Cost: $8
  • Open: Weds.-Sat. 10-5; also open Tues. noon-5, Memorial Day-Labor Day
