By Taxi in Seattle

Rides generally run about $1.80 per mile, and it's usually easier to call for a taxi (no fee) than to flag down a ride on the street. There are no surcharges for late-night pickups. Taxis are readily available at most Downtown hotels. You can take an Atlas Towncar from the airport to your hotel for $45—or as far as Portland, Oregon, or Vancouver, British Columbia, for about $300. You can also hire a car and driver for the day; note that rates don't include the required 20% gratuity.
