Fodor's Review

This small museum celebrates the history of Seattle's neighborhoods, mostly through displays of old photographs and 3-D exhibits. The museum's entrance is bound to grab your eye when you pass: the wrought-iron gates look like tree branches sprouting colorful houses, butterflies, and the Space Needle; behind them is a outdoor sculpture garden. New to the museum is a replica of the JP Patches set, including many original pieces and props from the beloved local kids TV show. The museum holds an annual summer concert series in the sculpture garden featuring live music from northwest singers and songwriters on Sundays at 2 pm.
