You can't miss the huge, chestnut-color, two-story barn with the wine vat out front—the centerpiece to this picturesque, 125-acre property. Greenbank's loganberry wines and dessert wines (for which they are famous) can be sampled daily in the tasting room for $1 per taste. The adjacent Whidbey Pies Café creates gourmet sandwiches, soups, and pies, all of which disappear quickly as visitors head for the scattered picnic tables. Bring your dog (or horse!) and walk the
scenic meadow trails. Besides wildlife, be on the lookout for the herd of fluffy alpacas raised onsite by the Whidbey Island Alpacas company. The 1904 barn, which once housed a winery, is now a community center for farmers' markets, concerts, flea markets, and other events, including the famous Loganberry Festival each July.
