Fodor's Review

The decor might be whimsical but the chefs take the food seriously at the Collections Café, a restaurant that's absolutely worth visiting, whether or not you're going to Chihuly Garden and Glass (admission to the museum isn't necessary). The name "Collections" is a reference to the fact that Dale Chihuly, the inspiration for café, is a lifelong collector of everything from bottle openers to radios to vintage accordions and much, much more—and a vast array of his goodies

are displayed on the walls, suspended from the ceiling, and even encased in the table tops. The seasonal menu features perfectly seasoned and spiced starters like the spiced carrot fritters and grilled Pacific octopus, while entrees run the gamut from homey options like meatballs served with cheddar and sourdough bread to brightly flavored chopped salads, and an excellent burger topped with bacon and red onion jam that is said to be what Mr. Chihuly likes to order on his frequent visits. Prices are extremely reasonable—unlike what you might expect from a museum restaurant.
