Museum of History & Industry

Museum of History & Industry Review

In its new location in the converted Naval Reserve Building in Lake Union Park, MOHAI offers visitors an in-depth slice of regional history. With 20,000 square feet devoted to the Seattle experience, recent exhibits include "Celluloid Seattle: A City at the Movies," examining Seattle's relationship with film, and "Still Afloat: A Contemporary History of Seattle's Floating Homes." MOHAI's Center for Innovation is a permanent exhibit that showcases Seattle's role as a place where innovation and entrepreneurship flourish; the exhibit is supported by a $10 million gift from Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO of Seattle-based (which has its corporate headquarters a few blocks away.)
