Top Pot Doughnuts

Top Pot Doughnuts Review

Artful old-fashioned doughnuts come in classic flavors like chocolate and powdered-sugar at Top Pot, but you can also get prettied up versions like a pink "feather boa" covered in shaved coconut, or seasonal specialties like pumpkin and spiced chai. The two-story Downtown location of this locally owned mini-chain is downright elegant for a doughnut shop, with clean lines and lots of steel and glass (including floor-to-ceiling front windows). There is quality coffee (their own house-roasted blend), savory scones, and made-to-order sandwiches to blunt the sugar rush. Grab a book from the built-in shelves and sit a while at one of the plentiful tables in the quiet upstairs mezzanine.
