Serious Pie

Serious Pie Review

Seriously yummy artisan pizzas are worth the wait here—and you will wait, at this teeny-tiny Belltown restaurant. Famed local restaurateur Tom Douglas recognized before many others that Seattle was missing a dynamite pizza spot and he delivered: chewy, buttery crusts anchor such toppings as fresh arugula, guanciale (cured pork jowl), and a soft egg; or Meyer lemon, chili, and buffalo mozzarella. Wash it down with a local brew, a glass of local wine, or some bubbly. High seats and communal tables crowd this tiny, loud space, but that can't keep us away. One semiprivate table behind a glass partition can be reserved for parties of six to 12. There's also a location in South Lake Union.
