Francine Seders Gallery

Francine Seders Gallery Review

It's the only major gallery in this neck of the woods, and it's run by a legend. Francine Seders has been in the business for over 46 years, and her space—a converted house with art on every floor, including the basement—is just as unusual as her business practices, which eschew the wheeling and dealing with museums and patrons that tend to short-change the artists. The gallery shows paintings and prints from established regional artists—her collection also includes Northwest icons like Guy Anderson, Mark Tobey, Jacob Lawrence, and Morris Graves. Shows change monthly.
