Wild Ginger
Wild Ginger Review
Housed in the swanky Shops at the Bravern, Wild Ginger mixes a Zenlike aesthetic with an upscale Bellevue vibe and touches of glass and steel; the eatery serves satisfying Asian fusion cuisine, which references Malaysian, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Indonesian culinary traditions. Happy hour—daily from 3 to 6, plus late nights Monday through Saturday—is particularly popular. Rich, aromatic dishes include seven flavor beef (flank steak spiced with lemongrass, peanuts, hoisin, chilies, basil, garlic, and ginger), Mandarin chicken with sweet-and-sour sauce, and house-made egg noodles wok-fried in a Mongolian chili sauce. There's a vegetarian menu, and a tasty $4 satay menu at happy hour, too.
