Fodor's Review:

Pike Place Market is such a tourist trap that the selection of quick and cheap lunch options is pretty dismal. Rest assured that Three Girls Bakery knows how to make a sandwich and they don't skimp on the fillings. Soups are also very good and of course the baked goods are outstanding. This isn't a place to enjoy a sit-down meal, and service can be a bit brusque, so plan on taking your meat-loaf sandwich and macaroons elsewhere.

The perfect Market lunch is a sunny summer day at the park the is at the end of the Market overlooking Eliot Bay with a Three Girls Meatloaf sandwich in hand. It is truly an amazing sandwich. If meatloaf is not your thing then try the Reuben, (I had a New Yorker tell me that it was incredible), or the Lox if you want some "local fair". Oh and make sure you save room for dessert.
