Fodor's Review:
Liberty occupies an interesting niche -- it's a neighborhood hangout that's a dark lounge rather than a comfortable pub. With good drinks made from fresh juices, good sushi, fashion and music mags scattered around, and a self-consciously laid-back vibe, it's no wonder that many Capitol Hill residents make this their "had enough of Pike-Pine" default. Thirtysomethings with media jobs and thick, black-framed glasses often reach critical mass here, but occasionally the crowd gets a little more eclectic.
