Science Fiction Experience

Fodor's Review:

Another Paul Allen brainchild in Seattle Center, this museum has an advisory board—Arthur C. Clarke, Ray Bradbury, Octavia Butler, Orson Scott Card, Syne Mitchell, Kim Stanley Robinson, and Greg Bear, among many others—that reads like the equivalent of a science fiction fan's fantasy baseball team. But this museum is not just for mouth-breathers: the best science fiction writers have always tackled major themes, and the Brave New Worlds exhibit explores the different visions science fiction has produced regarding our future. There's more-lighthearted fun, too: Spacedock surveys the genre's coolest spaceships and trekkies can head to the Armory to see a Klingon dagger up close.
