Science Fiction Experience

Fodor's Review:

Another Paul Allen brainchild in Seattle Center, this museum has an advisory board -- Arthur C. Clarke, Ray Bradbury, Octavia Butler, Orson Scott Card, Syne Mitchell, Kim Stanley Robinson, and Greg Bear, among many others -- that reads like the equivalent of a science fiction fan's fantasy baseball team. But this museum is not just for mouth-breathers: the best science fiction writers have always tackled major themes, and the Brave New Worlds exhibit explores the different visions science fiction has produced regarding our future. There's more-lighthearted fun, too: Spacedock surveys the genre's coolest spaceships and trekkies can head to the Armory to see a Klingon dagger up close.
