Fodor's Review:

Portalis attracts serious wine drinkers who gather around communal tables and at the long bar to sample wines from around the world in this cozy, brick-lined bar. It's a full-service retail shop as well, so you can pick up a few bottles to take home. Though it's a bit stuffy for Ballard, it's a nice alternative to the frenetic scene on the upper part of Ballard Avenue.
