Silver Cloud Inn Lake Union

Fodor's Review:
Though not as attractive as its sister property on Capitol Hill, this Silver Cloud branch has something the other doesn't: views of Lake Union from many of its guest rooms as well as from a third-floor lounge. Rooms are simply and adequately furnished; some of the larger water-view rooms have nice love seats and glass doors that give them some extra light. The hotel is on the southeast corner of the lake and dining options within easy walking distance are a bit better here than on the west side. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle service to Downtown sights. Prices are reasonable considering the location, and therefore weekends in August fill up quickly.
