If you're interested in Northwest regional art, this gallery is a must. But don't expect a "greatest hits" collection here -- David Martin and Dominic Zambito are well known in Seattle's art scene for expanding the study of regional Northwest art namely by uncovering little-known, or long-forgotten artists, many of them women. Their research has extended the history of the genre to the late 1800s (before they started digging, most collections started in the 1940s). Their exhibits consist of mostly paintings and photographs and tend to focus on WPA and Depression-era works.
