Brouwer's

Fodor's Review:

Brouwer's is a Belgian-beer lovers heaven—even if it looks more like a trendy Gothic dungeon than a place with white clouds and harp-bearing angels. A converted warehouse provides an ample venue for a top selection of suds provided by the owners of Seattle's best specialty-beer shop, Bottleworks. There are plenty of German and American beers on offer, too, as well as English, Czech, and Polish selections. A menu of sandwiches, frites, and Belgian specialties help to lay a foundation before imbibing (remember that Belgian beers have a higher alcohol content). Before settling on a seat downstairs, check out the balcony and the cozy parlor room.
