BLVD/Roq La Rue

Fodor's Review:

If you get tired of looking at totem poles, glass sculptures, and austere black-and-white photos, swing by these sister galleries for a different take on contemporary Northwest art. Cheeky surrealist pop art hangs in Roq La Rue, which is not solely Northwest focused; urban street art from the region populates BLVD. Kirsten Anderson, the owner of both galleries, is well known for injecting some much-needed life into the city's gallery scene by exhibiting work that often gets ignored by traditional venues in spaces that are as professional as all the rest.
