Fodor's Review:
Vessel is the place to go if you've saved up some cash in anticipation of spending one night sampling intricate and inventive cocktails. The specialty drinks are outstanding here and you're bound to find a few concoctions that you won't find anywhere else. Service can be a bit slow on crowded weekends, but just spend the time eyeing the attractive bi-level space, which is supermodern without being a caricature of itself. The staircase leading to the mezzanine is backlighted in the type of unnatural yellow color you'd expect to find in a cocktail with 10 ingredients -- it's a surprisingly nice touch. This is a sophisticated place (leave the sport sandals at home) that knows it doesn't have to trade on pretension -- it's all about the drinks.
