Fodor's Review

Fans of historic boutique hotels will love this reasonably priced 1918 brick property at the foot of Queen Anne Hill. Formerly an apartment building, the MarQueen has spacious guest rooms, all with kitchens and sitting areas. Patrons of the opera, ballet, and theater will enjoy being just blocks from Seattle Center and it's a quick walk to Belltown from this part of Queen Anne. The speakeasy-themed Tin Lizzie Lounge downstairs is a great spot to meet fellow travelers.

Note that while the historic building gives the place character, it also means it's not sealed off from street noise.

Great Value at The Seattle Center

Our family has stayed here a couple of times and have loved our experience. The staff is nice, the rooms huge, complete with full kitchen and seating area. Our teens can safely walk back and forth to the Seattle Center and good restaurants and groceries are adjacent. A great find for anyone who likes being in the middle of everything and a little funk.

Best Value for Money

The hotel is very cozy, the bedrooms spacious. The staff are friendly and very helpful. There's a free shuttle which can take you to the sites. Complimentary wine every Thurs and Sat.
